Someone suggested in a comment on the original AotA that I play around with the contrast of the drawing in order to make blacks truly black, whites truly white, and get rid of that pervasive middle-gray caused by the digital camera (I have to take the picture without the flash or else the whole thing gets wipedout).I thought they had a point, so I tried it out! I think I like it. It actually looks a lot closer to the real-life drawing.

You made the Erik that should have been in the movie, way to go! Did you draw it from your own imagination or did you use reference pictures to get that really realistic face distortion? It's amazing how naturalistic it looks.
