I mean, she would have made it if she wouldn't have screamed.... Clementines reasoning was ok. But obviously I can't say Sarita was stupid for screaming, after all, she just got her arm chopped off. I'm just angry at Telltale for killing off so many characters all the time.Β

Righto. Β I do appreciate when everyone is to some degree expendable, because it keeps me on my toes and legitimately worried that nobody is safe. Β In other words, a couple "meaningless" deaths can still have meaning in that they teach you how delicate the post-apocalypse life is. Β On the flip-side, if I'm at the fourth episode and people are dropping like flies no matter what I do, and for no other reason than "Woop! Β They're dead now!" I get a bit irritated and become less attached to whoever remains.
On the FLIP-flip-side, maybe that style of killing off characters is perfect (whether intentional or not) for what the story's doing. Β Maybe it's showing Clementine becoming this hardened survivor (like Carver and Jane) and caring less about the living as she survives against the dead. Β If the story being told is one of innocence lost, humanity forsaken, then -- at the last moment -- reclaimed against all odds, then I'm all for it. Β If it's just bad writing (as we'll see in due time), then I'm afraid I'll only be able to recommend the first season to my friends.
Makes you think, man. Β Keeps you up at night. Β I trust Telltale not to disappoint. Β They have a bigger writers' room now, from what I've heard, so I'd expect this story to be even more carefully designed than the previous one. Β We can only hope.

Xactly, more than once I just found myself thinking (specially in this season) that they just killed off those characters that ended without much more room for further development, and more than one death to me sounded more like "Heck I'm all out of ideas for this guy, lets just kill him off" than a real "meaningless" death. Happened to me with Carlos and Sarah for example, Carlos fullfilled his role of saving Kenny and some, then he gets killed off. At first it apeared that Sarah would become something more, as in the end of the chapter we see her glasses and know she survived, but she only serves the purpose of proxy killing Nick (wich we lamely find as a walker), comes back with less than 30 lines of dialogue wich half is mumbling, and (I slapped her so idk) she can even die right there in that cabin, and if you save her, she is just standing in the far back of the screen clutching her legs and doing nothing for the story , only to die another meaningless death later.Β
I like the series, but some parts just look a lot like this, still playing as badass Clementine is worth the money XD

Agree. I really liked the first 2-3 episodes, but then it kinda went downhill from there. I dont know if they got new writers or decided to go in a new direction or something, cuz it suddenly felt like they were so focused on the whole "pizza vs ice cream" thing and creating that scenario that they couldnt even be bothered giving the rest of the cast any thought. They just started dropping them as fast as they could so they could focus on the end choice. Which sucks cuz they really seemed like they were setting up a bunch of character arcs that they just ended up dropping.
