Finally, I got up the nerve to color Dizzy. This is a close up version of her. Awww... Dizzy... -=Ka-cling!=- Love her! Anyway, I don't have the money to buy Prismacolor pencils so regular ol' Crayola will have to work. That's what I used for this piece. Turned out to my liking! Hope you like it too!Related content

Nice Dizzy, my fav ^_^. I prefer using colour pencil to colour my artwork, easy to use.

I appreciate the comment, but this picture is from reference, and, I might add, is almost exactly alike, hair and all. But it's nice to know that someone knows her.

If that is Crayola pencils, you have a lot of talent. Thisis a very good piece, you have good form and anatomy, your hands and face and eyes are all well drawn. The piece has good movement and balance, which is very important for the mood of the piece. Your coloring, especially for crayola, is fantastic. I'd really like to see what you could do with prismacolors! (As they are most definitely superior
Have you considered working with markers? You have a style where you may be able to get away with using them fairly easily.

Tee hee! Very pretty. You are very skilled at the coloring. And it's not the tool that makes the artist, it's the skill of the artist with the tool. Sure those pencils are great, but ultimately it's really your skill that shows. Great job!!!

ok..I like the design and all but here are my problems..the eyes and the hair are young and free and speak of an innocent along withthe size of hte face and it's shape. Then you get intot he scowl and the outfit and it doesn't speak of an innocent...humm..a bit of a contradiction there. Also, the placement of the hands is unnatural. it does not feel like a pose anyone would normally take. So thje character becomes stiff. She seems unnatural becuase of her composure. The way she stands is very shy-like and she covers her self basically with her hands..but then yoiu see what she is wearing so you are confused. I donno all that might just be me but those are what I see that caught my eye as a bit off.

Well, this being anime, it is not necessarily supposed to be humanstic so much as... Well.... A human would be. She is not scowling, it's more of... a lonely quiver of the lip. The eyes speak of lonliness. (the point I was trying to convey.)
As for the rest, please refer to my comment that I left in reply to your comment on Kakasha. I think you'll find what else I am trying to say there. Thank you for your comment.

This does look really good. The coloring in her hair looks wonderful; it's very smooth and clean, and the shading does a nice job of making her stand out. The yellow hair ties were a great choice; they make a nice contrast against the blue hair.
The clothes are also very nice; they're a little revealing, but are still quite tasteful. The shading looks nice on them as well, especially the blue shading on the white, but the wrinkles on the sleeves looks a little unnatural. Maybe if there was a little more indication of wrinkles and creases near the hand-cuff it'd look more natural.
Her anatomy also looks great. It's very soft and feminine, and her hand was wonderfully drawn. The expression on her face does a great job of conveying a slightly confused and a little annoyed look.
All in all, this is a really nice piece. It was very well-colored, and the anatomy is great. Keep up the good work!

Great job on the coloring for this. You're going to hate me when I say this but I have a 96 set of prismacolors pretty much brand new because I suck at coloring. ;.; Wish I could do this well, but even with the right pencils I suck >.<; Anyway this is awesome, keep up the good work!
