Description
At 50x70 cm in size, this vision of hell reimagined compliments its upper half from the previous post. As with the latter, this piece too is essentially an elaborate fanart of Lucasarts' "Afterlife" first published in 1996. Though far more busy than celestial plane of heavenly delights, infernal pits were easier to arrange into a composition - in no small part thanks to in-game punishment buildings being portrayed as structures, rather than depictions of a concept behing its inner works. Which, in turn, is a rather worrying portent about how humanity finds it easier to imagine its own ultimate ruin than even the simplest prospect of salvation.
