Yeah, Sonic.Exe, while not the best Creepypasta around (Hell, it was removed from the Creepypasta Wiki and moved to the Trollpasta Wiki), it still remains a cult hit, especially in the Sonic fandom. We got a pretty solid game adaptation of the original story, along with one for Sally.Exe, the fan sequel to Sonic.Exe, along with some really good animations from various YouTubers, and awesome art like this. Plus, with a rather well received remake in development by the original author (Inspired by the 2017 movie, Stephen King's IT), there may be hope for this infamous story, even though the remake is...also on the Trollpasta Wiki...

That's probably the case. Yet, for some reason, they didn't do that with the Jeff the Killer remake. They actually thought it was good enough for the Creepypasta Wiki. So, that begs the question: Is the Sonic.Exe remake good enough of a creepy story to be removed from the Trollpasta Wiki, or is it forever to remain unnoticed by the community?

Who knows, but I personally think it's a huge step up from the original.
But I think the thing about the Jeff remake is that it came out back in 2015, and the Sonic.exe remake came out last October, so they probably had the guts back then to read the story, and probably didn't want anything to do with Sonic.exe. And Jeff's story is very changed up, Jeff isn't a powerful psychopath, his age is changed, and has a reason for killing people. The Sonic.exe remake also has quite a lot of differences, but also keeps a lot the same, such as Exe's origin, personality, and the behavior of the main characters.
