Description So today I bring to you Takiko Okuda, from Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden. She has to be one of my favorite Watase heroine's (she kicks butt! ) I've had this idea kicking around in my head for awhile now, and with finals finally over I've had the time to do it! I hope you guys like it!

She's my favorite priestess!!!!
I feel bad for her in the manga though.
Out of all of watase's manga, this is my favorite!!!
I also love absolute boyfriend!

I feel bad for her too! But I think her tragic life is what makes her so appealing for many readers (theres nothing quite like a tradgey). Genbu Kaiden is my favorite out of all of Watase's series too! Absoulte boyfriend was pretty good to! (it had one of watase's best endings I think)! Have you had a chance to watch the Live action Drama of Absoulte boyfriend that came out a couple of years ago in Japan?

I saw that movie for japan, but I rather like the manga better. I watched a bit of it.

what a very nice concept!!! love it! its like a holiday hallmarks card!!!! awww... and i love takiko, too!!!! i've never once seen or read any anti-takiko in the fandom...

Thanks! Yeah, everyone loves Takiko (probably because she's gonna die DX ) Well, she's a strong character and its easy to admire her. I've had the idea for this awhile ago, I actually had re-draw that picture like 4 times before I was happy with it...

i can accept the fact that she will die. afterall, she's left a huge impact on the viewers anyway... that's something! such a lovely character!

dang, you drew the picture for 4 times!!!! perfectionist? haha!!! i get lazy re-drawing pictures so i always go for my initial drawing... i should be more like you so my works wouldn't look like rushed D:

It can become very disscouraging though ... re-drawing pictures. Like I'll draw a picture, really like it, but something is off so I want to redo it. But the send pass sucks even more than the first XD so at times it can be a waste of time .I've redrawn pictures, and have end up using my first draft anyways!

i guess that's really how it is. i was just talking about the same topic with my friend and she said that maybe because we have put more of our emotions in the first sketch/draft that's why it is more meaningful (or beautiful).

and i kinda agree to that. you're not alone...
