Nimble watched on as the massive ship slowly opened his eyes with a grunt of pain. Titanic was still pretty beat up from the encounter but most of the bruises went away and some scar tissue remained from where he scraped by a rock on the way to Zoith’s temple. “What was that?” Titanic grunted. “Salvagers.” Nimble said, “They almost got you but me and Herman stopped them with the help of Bismarck and Hood.” “I thought as much.” Titanic said, “Those buggards have been after me and my fleet for years.” Sleanok and Herman just joined the two of them as Sleanok said, “I’m glad you’re awake. How are you feeling?” “Better now.” Titanic said, “But I just pray my fleet is safe.” “Don’t worry about that.” Sleanok said, “Bismarck and Hood left to protect them and my lady Zoith sent Thunder-Raiser along with some of her best warriors to help.” “Thank you.” Titanic said, “How can I ever repay your kindness.” Sleanok only smiled as she then looked at Nimble who was still staring in awe up at the great ship. “I’ll leave you 3 alone.” Sleanok said as she then hobbled off. Titanic smiled a warm smile at Nimble and asked, “So you got a family?” “No.” Nimble sadly said, “They were killed by a mantacore last year.” “I’m sorry to hear that.” Titanic said, “My parents were both ghost ships.” His funnels sadly slumped back as his gaze fell, “They were taken by salvagers when I was a child.” “Were you ever captured by salvagers?” Nimble innocently asked. Titanic chuckled and said, “More times than I can count. But they never get much.” He smiled a sly smile and said, “I never give them the chance.” Nimble laughed as Titanic said, “Climb aboard, I want you to meet someone.” Nimble’s eyes lit up like a Christmas tree as she said, “YOU MEAN IT! YOU REALLY MEAN IT!” “Aye, I do.” Titanic chuckled. Nimble flew up to his deck with Herman right behind her. It was shortly after that she headed right for the wheel house while Titanic started to pull out of the dry-dock.

Nimble stepped into Titanic’s wheelhouse and couldn’t believe her eyes. The once proud wheelhouse of the great ship was now ravaged by salvagers. The helm, compass, and telegraph were all ripped away, leaving behind stumps of torn brass. Nimble wanted to cry, the wheelhouse was nothing like she’d seen in books or movies of the Titanic. “I hope the rest of the ship isn’t like this.” Nimble thought to herself as she headed for the grand staircase, only to find it was in no better condition…
