This is a Pastel Drawing I Did of a Buddha Titled "the Reflecting Buddha" for an art show but hardly anyone showed up to see my work But i wasn't the only one.Related content

Pastels are the best, I love them!
I like warm colors in this piece, especially yellow tone on the cheeks.Β
I think you mixed colors fine, and it's great that I can't see paper below the layers.
I think you should keep it up, as I remember that my first pastels were horrible, I didn't mixed colors at all^^'Β
But personally I prefer oil pastels than dry ones, did you already tried them?
