Description
Well, this year was... shit...
So, because I didn't have anything really planned for a Christmas themed picture like most other people have done, I drew this.
Normally when I feel shitty I usually draw my Shiny Charizard lady, Tenka and her husband Rich Willard.
I try my best not to draw them so often as in order to not overuse the same colors, and not to make my gallery stale and predictable.
But, this year was kinda rough on me, so I figure if I was going to say goodbye to this shitty year, that I might as well make something good out of it.
Most people probably drew something like a Christmas pin up picture.
But I did something that I don't think is seen too often, a Green Christmas picture.
I like to think that since Unova is New York and it'd be cold as hell right now, I figured Rich would treat his family to the warmer climate of Alola for a Green Christmas, which would be Hawaii.
This also gave me an excuse to dress Tenka is a nice summer dress, as well as use some warmer colors in general for a better feeling for this picture.
I did some darker shading on Tenka's soft scales, as I think it looks better like that with the darker brown.
The yellow on Tenka's dress looks nice and bright against the darker shades.
It's simple but it works out pretty nicely I think.
So yeah, like picture of 2016; Enjoy.

Tenka's Notes:
It's been a few months later but here we are in Alola!
I must say even though we've been here for only less then two weeks, it feels absolutely wonderful here.
The air, the water, the people, everything is just so calm here.
Maybe I'm just use to being an Unovan, but sitting back and relaxing just feels, well so nice for a change of pace.
I'm use to having to get up and doing my daily routine of training with my family.
Along with other motherly like duties, like checking in on my kids and making sure Tetsuo isn't doing anything... Dangerous...
But now in Alola, it's like the weekend all the time.
Heh, maybe it's my busy mother side talking.
I know I talked to it with Sweetums and just just giggle and said "Take it easy Mrs. Willard, we are on vacation honey."
And I felt a bit more at ease after that, I have a bad habit of overthinking things sometimes.
My birthday had passed a few days ago and Rich treated me to a movie in Akala Island, just me and him having a great time together.
But what was the funniest and best part of that evening was really when we got on of the movies.
Apparently someone was starstruck and instantly recognized us in the theater.
It was a student from one of the local Akala Trainer Schools., and he asked us if we could visit his school for a short time to maybe hand out some tips for his class.
Being a Teacher himself Sweetums didn't say no, and gladly accepting.
Now the kids were barely just teenagers, so when I walked into the classroom I could clearly see all of the kids looking embarrassed at my curvy figure.
They didn't say anything lewd as to not disrespectful, but I thought it was kinda cute to see them look away sheepishly when they know they've been staring at me for too long.
But besides that, they took pageful of notes whenever Richie spoke.
It was great to see their face light up when they learned about something they never would've known about otherwise.
Watching Rich teach any kind of kids of any age brings a great smile to my face, her is just so passionate about what he does.
Eventually in the battle portion of the lesson, I myself shown the kids and their Pokemon some of my more advanced Kenpo techniques on the wooden dummy in the background.
...I sadly broke it as I forgot my own strength...
I always tend to forgot that my family trains with high tech equipment...
I felt so bad that I broke the dummy, but they kids lost their minds and cheered me of for showing of that much power.
The unexpected cheering was so funny to me that I could help but laugh along with them.
Just before we left the teacher of the class asked if they could get a nice photo of us together, we figured it was a great way to remember the time.
Also, just as it turned into the next year some mail was sent to up our room in the Hano Grand Resort and they turned our photo into postcard so we could sent it out to our family.
Oh goodness, those kids had just the best sense of humor!
I think we'll have to revisit their classroom very soon.
