Yes, indeed, it's time for Whisper again.
Man, it’s hard to believe that the IDW Sonic Comics are 5 years old now, and the same goes for Whisper herself.
Funny how seeing fanart of this chocolate wolf was the thing that got me back into Sonic.
Her birthday past recently on August 15th, so I figured it’d be a good excuse to draw her once again.
Last time, Whisper was in a saucy little black cocktail dress.
This time I wanted to revisit that Metal Gear inspired white outfit I drew Whisper in like 2 years ago.
I didn’t change much on Whisper’s design other than adding in her cloak and giving her boots to wear again.
The anatomy also changed, as I slimmed down Whisper to make her “slightly” less horny looking.
Hopefully, she is closer to the “Mobian” anatomy while still keeping my style intact.
Whisper’s rifle is once again a little different, maybe it looks like a tube gun, but I like it better than the last gun I gave to Whisper.
I’m just happy that this piece is finished, took a little while longer then I thought in the end.
But, I can’t really complain when the shading looks as good as it does on Whisper’s skin.
Feels nice that I have a more solid grasp on mixing in the Mobian style and my own style.
Perhaps I’ll come back to Sonic art a bit more often.

Monitoring on Whisper the Wolf has yielded most impressive results ever since she was given the Super Soldier Serum.
While Agent Shadow did give us some protest at first, eventually came to accept this change.
Being the sniper of the Anti-Eggman Unit, Agent Whisper has proved herself incredible with her marksmanship.
And thanks to the serum, her skills have improved tenfold.
With an overall boost to her speed and physical prowess, it seems that Whisper has developed some mild Chaos Power as a resulting “side effect”.
This was something that Doctor Christopher Thorndyke told use about in the ICU, but we didn’t expect her to manifest these powers so quickly.
From what Shadow reported to us, Whisper’s Chaos Power is tied directly to her eyes.
What has been dubbed “Eagle Eyes” Whisper can focus her sight to an incredible degree.
Which allows her to “zoom in” on a target with her eyes alone.
This increase in vision allows Whisper to make long range shots without needing the use of her sniper scope.
Field data collected by the Darkstars show that Whisper’s kill ratio has increased staggeringly.
Granted, this is also thanks to her new “White Angel MK2” rifle, a powerful sniper rifle powered by a new red chaos drive.
Its ricochet properties have increased as well, being able to bounce faster and harder off of different surfaces, and even just the air itself.
But this Chaos Power also works wonderfully for scouting, as Whisper can see much further ahead with acute details.
It pairs extremely well with her partner, Agent Tangle, as it makes Tangle’s job as a scout far easier.
This power however is still evolving as we speak, but Whisper has been getting a hang of this ability rather well.
The only downside of Whisper’s Eagle Eye is that it takes quite a bit of stamina for her to use in rapid succession.
But, we are hopeful that both Shadow and Agent Yvette will help Whisper to tame this new power and hone it into something truly magnificent.
