The Saeko is very pretty, but I feel her expression could use a bit of work. She doesn't even look stalwart, just detached and uninvolved in what's going on. A shame, really.

I thought her expressions were the most accurate, but the reason for that may be because this technically was not her cosplay. Sadly, I think she told me that somebody broke into her car and some of her cosplays got lost in the process so her roomate was kind enough to lent her HOTD cosplay to her....Dx
With all honesty though, I think she played Saeko extremely well. Perhaps it is a matter of self-opinion?

That explains it then. The look in her eyes is something akin to her being concerned with something else. Perhaps even a little sad..
I'm sorry to hear that happened to your friend. I the experience didn't bother her too much and that your group simply got to enjoy the con for what it is. And props to her for finding a way to stick to the character she intended to cosplay with you guys even after interference.
