I was ready to post my story "The Man and The Book" on dA, and I needed an artist to illustrate the image. Moh needed work, and i thought "What a coincidence!" So, I hit him up, he did his magic, and boom! Image was born!

I chose this scene, because I thought him waking up as "The Happy Sultan" was a nice way to begin his adventure. I could have done him talking to the spirit, but his story didn't truly begin at that spot. I also chose line art because while I enjoy the vast array of colors in images and for artist to express that, Sultan's story is reflected based on things in my life, just in a more fantasy setting. So, I saw this as writing my journal where I sketch images, like I actually do.
