I saw some of those Pokemon Time dolls on ebay a while back, and they really are super cute. You've done a great job with this pikachu, it looks just like that style! The tail really does look like it was hard to do, but it turned out great I think!
Even after all these years, Pikachu is still one of my favorites, and I like this style more that how he looks in the anime or the games in recent years. (I always liked his chibi fat style in the first gen or the mangas).

Thank you! I really appreciate your kind words ^_^
I do love the old pikachu much better, he's so chubby and adorable!
I'm actually selling this little guy on etsy right now =3 [link]

Aw thank you! That's very sweet of you to say ^^, it actually didn't take me very long to make (in comparison to my other amigurumi). The style is very simplistic and relatively easy to mimic. Only one thing tripped me up a little, the tail. o____o

I'm rather curious about the arms, legs, and ears. Were they done separately and attached, or did you somehow manage to make them in one piece with the body?

I thought as much. I just wanted to be sure. Nice job with the tail, by the way!

The tail is what I'm most impressed by, too... I can't crochet but for a straight line O_O

It was honestly the hardest part I've done for pretty much any amigurumi so far.
Thank you ^^

I KNOW I've seen a Time-themed Luxray before, it was a custom though... I'm thinking it was in someone's collection on the community? Not sure, but it was cute! I recently did a Time Lapras necklace, I just have to upload it!

O____O *grabby hands* I must have this Luxray! *types frantically in the search on the community, looking for it*
Ooooh can't wait to see it!

I found it, here: [link]
I'm guessing it was last December, that's when I joined. It's cute! You should make a sculpt or something of a Time Luxray!

Oooo I see! (thank you for finding it for me =3)
I'm definitely going to be making one of Luxray. I don't have anything with Luxray on it (cept for a battrio) which makes me rather sad.

Wow! I've tried to crochet before but I've never really caught on to doing it. This is awesome - you really have a talent~!!!

Thank you!
I actually tried crocheting a few years ago and became so frustrated with the whole ordeal of keeping the same amount of stitches in each row (I always picked up extra stitches somewhere!) ...that I completely gave up. Until one day, one very fateful day, when I stumbled across an amazing crocheter's gallery, full of Pokemon. I can't for the life of me remember what their username was. If I could, I would thank them for inspiring me to try again. I started to learn this past October, using internet tutorials and a very helpful book that my tactful younger sister bought for me...and I've been crocheting ever since!

That's really awesome - I love how things like that can inspire people to become better at what they do! I'm totally going to have to try my hand at it one of these days. I knit sometimes, but not enough to make that much so far, and it has been forever since I crocheted. I always see books at my library about this stuff, so I need to actually check them out and try it sometime ^-^.
