Airbrushing the darker colors on the lighter colors wasn't too tough...but doing the white was insanely hard >-<
I felt like I couldn't respond to this without more experience airbrushing and I definitely have more now lol. I like playing with the combinations of colors. Of course colors fade when they dry so I have to put on a few coats, but they have to be very thin coats or the pile becomes matted. 

I'll probably use a combination of embroidery and airbrushing on all plushies in the future. I thoroughly enjoy airbrushing, I've just found it to be much more difficult on plush fabrics. I'm always game for a challenge though! I'll update you more as I go.

Also, have you tried doing light dry brushing?  I met White Dove (Sherry) at BronyCon this year and got to see the Princess Cadence she did, which has light dry brushing techniques in her wings.  It was beautiful.  I've done the fabric painting for scarves and a couple of SeaPonies, a couple of Pinkie Pies but they were full on painting not the very light touch painting.  So, I'm going to be practicing up on that one...actually have a little plushie in mind to try it on with her mane and tail, so we'll see how it goes.

Looks like we'll both be keeping each other posted!

Well airbrushing kinda negates the need to use any kind of actual brush. It coats more evenly and keeps the pile of the fabric as close as possible to its original state. 
I just need to figure out how to get light colors to show up well on dark colors. I think it'll just take more time because I managed to do it pretty well on my new galaxy foxes. 

Sounds like a plan to me!

Yeah, I tried the light dry brushing today and it works great when you're using a darker color paint on a lighter colored fabric (such as blue on white).  However, I'll need a really really really light colored pink in order for it to show up on darker pink LOL...just like you!

Thank you! That was purely experimental, but I like it the most out of everything I did lol... and I'm planning on using the same technique on a future plushie I have planned out :3

Hehe thanks! Well I like both patterns and I have to tweak each one. I kinda went two completely different ways with them to see how each piece looked embroidered and airbrushed. So I'll use aspects from each in future plushies, but I won't have any entirely airbrushed ones again.
