This started as a doodle of Weiss and got way out of hand. I made an entire AU and may draw more of the characters in the future, but for now here's team RWBY in their lovely garb. (also I realize I misspelled thief in the picture I was just too lazy to fix it)

Ruby is the captain of her ship, "The Bloody Buccaneer," and she is one of the most feared and respected pirates among the seven seas. The royal family asked for her assistance in their navy, but she declined many times, before agreeing to keep peace in the ocean, so long as she could pass freely between kingdoms for trade. This relationship has been kept secret for years as both hers and the royal's reputations would be tarnished if the people knew.

Weiss is the Princess of Vale, and she is extremely dissatisfied with her family's treatment of their people. She is often seen roaming the streets of the kingdom, usually disguised, and helping those in need. She has even snuck onto the battlefield more than once while her parents were busy with their royal duties.

Blake is a renegade thief-turned-hero as she steals from the royal family and the nobles to feed starving townspeople, having hatred for those who sit on a throne of food while people are dying in the same streets. She wishes to one day overthrow the king and queen. She has met Weiss once or twice, and only noticed who she was after almost attacking her in the streets. She got in an argument with the young ruler before finding that they have the same concerns, but she is still hesitant to trust her.

Yang is a con artist who often goes into pubs, flirting with drunken men before making bets with them that she rigs in her favor. She has been caught a few times but knows her way around a fight, making it fairly simple for her to get away. She did this all for her own benefit until she met Blake, who convinced Yang to work with her in order to help the people. Yang and Ruby are still siblings, but they haven't seen each other in years due to a falling out when Yang got them into issues with theft, and Ruby hesitantly sent her on her way.

Ages: R-24 W-27 B-28 Y-27

Pyrrha: Ex-Knight, slain in battle
Ren: Assassin for hire, works with Nora
