I like it. If Sonic does get pushed in the water, Tails will obviously save him. Since Tails is already swimming in the water.

The reason Sonic's afraid of drowning: some kids pushed him into the deep end of a swimming pool when he was little (and had to be saved by a lifeguard). And now Knuckles is unknowingly making Sonic relive a traumatic episode from his childhood. Nice job, stupid!
