Friendship Contest Entry
“I was supposed to draw them (Ciel and Ricky) playing ps3 or xbox but to make the artwork more interesting and cool, I drew a Nintendo Family Computer (1986) instead. It is also my tribute art to the console that started it all. I can still remember way back then when I used to play Super Mario Bros and Galaga and Pacman oh and who didn’t play Circus and Popeye. Wow, I missed my childhood…the nostalgia waaah!”

I really can't say much about the Nintendo Family Computer b/c I never owned one. The first game system I owned was the NES.
Anyway, back to the subject at hand. Interesting concept for the contest entry.
Also, props to the new art style. It seems that you're using some form of pattern over the entire pic for a more textured effect.

I remember CONTRA, that game was AWESOME. When I was a young lad I remember comming home from school (I was in gr.2 at the time) and there it was...A Nintendo, And Contra was one of the games we got with it. This takes me back,well done.

no prob, I think it's sad though, so many younger gamers don't take the time to play the game's that started it all, ya know? I got a WII and a 360, but I still play the 'old nintendo time to time.

It's part of my childhood man, A part I'll never let go lol, I still get all "them were the days" when I play it, before highschool, then collage, then life. Back when me and my buddys used to play Hockey out on the pond, then go in and play Contra. Almost bring's a tear to this gett'n older Canadian lol.
