Description of the Character by ~helloxandie : well this is one of the oc's i started to make..His name is Yoo and he's 19. His parents died when he was born, and the only thing that left from them is a ring that he cares now on a necklace. His objective in life is to find out about his family, why they were killed, etc.He helps wherever he can, he's a good person, but he doesn't trust anyone.

This is truly an amazing piece of art.
I personally like the BG you added to this piece. The sliced pieces emphasize the fact that he's a sword wielder (assuming samurai) and fading squares add their own effect to the piece.

Everything in the whole artwork work well. The BG comliments the coloring of the characters hair, costume. Even the added lineworks in the bottom of the BG creates a sense of "sharpness" of the overall theme + the fact he is a samurai boy.
The lighting is well executesd. Could not been any better than this. Congrats to you and the winner.
