Some of you might have seen the teaser I uploaded yesterday, here is the finished piece! I am very pleased with the outcome of this one. This is a personal piece, I wanted to do something for myself for a bit, having a little freedom on what I am doing. It was originally supposed to be a unicorn but I like it like this. Feel free to give me a critique!
Tools: photoshop cs6 and wacom bamboo pen and touch tablet.

This piece looks very lovely. The idea is moderately original, but the vision and impact is pretty well-done. It has a great peaceful and almost melancholy mood to it. Some parts that could use some work is the crispness of the piece. The horse stock almost seems blurry. Also, around the sticks by the hindlegs and the water in front, there seems to be some type of weird blurring going on. Also, the eyelashes are wonderful, but the detailing of the actual eye seem to be lacking. It almost seems like a blob of blue. I think clearing that up will help direct viewer's eyes to the sweet turtle in front. Also, I'm not sure if this is a character, but perhaps an eye color that matches the background would be cool! Overall the piece is wonderful and I hope to see more of your work!
