After drawing my first Other Once-ler picture, this new picture idea was actually given to me by , who suggested that I draw the Other Once-ler and myself, and that the Truffula forest could be the "other world".......I have NO IDEA why I didn't think of that plot!! O.o Maybe it's because I was just focusing on ideas for drawing the Other Once-ler alone, since most of my Once-ler pictures have either my friend or I in it. I'm such an airhead sometimes
But anyways, if anyone's interested I've actually started to form a story in my mind around this whole "Other Once-ler" idea of mine >w< So I'll probably draw more little scenes like this one soon based on what I've come up with so far~ :3

O.O.......I had NO IDEA that my Other Once-ler would become so popular!
has already asked me on my last picture if it was ok if she could do a little fan fiction based off of it!! ~Spins in little circles!~
And, And! People are doing fan art of Other Once-ler!!

Seriously though, thank you all so much for your kind words and favorites on my Other Once-ler! ;o; I'm very happy you all like him, and he loves you all too!.....Though I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not

LOL XD Great minds think alike I guess?
I was just obsessed with the Lorax, and was watching it almost every day in my free time~ Then one day I just had the sudden urge to watch Coraline, and my mind was still on the Lorax while watching it XD Since then, I've started forming a background around him as well as an overall story :3 So far, people are really enjoing him! It makes me very happy~ X3

Soon dear, soon! Sometimes it take a while for me to draw the Once-ler in general, since I'm only just starting to improve how I draw him (his hair and face shape were always a pain for me to do >.< ) It also takes a while for me to color them in, since I'm kind of new to using Sai and do not own a Tablet TwT And on top of all that, I'm slowly coming up with a background story for him as well >w> There will definitely be more, though I'm not sure at what pace It will come though, slowly but surely ;3

The buttons creeped me out as well...though the OVERALL MOVIE creeped me out too!

LOL! Older sisters are rather useful for things like that Yes, they are a little different, the book and the movie :3 Things in the book happen a bit faster (like the other mother revealing her true nature) and Coraline doesn't really warm up to her like she does in the movie. In fact, she's rather cautious of her the whole time. And I believe it takes place in England
So the differences range from minor to major :3

I've thought about doing that actually! Though it just started off as simple pictures, I've actually slowly started to form a story in my head around this whole idea for the past couple of days now I have a few ideas/scenes thought out now, but have yet to put them all together to make a whole story. It's actually rather difficult, mainly because I'm trying to add a few things in it so that it doesn't end up just being Coraline retold with The Lorax characters. Because what fun would that be? Of course, the overall plot would be the same But I would probably change/add a few things, such as the Other Once-ler's motives, how the characters find the other world, and so on. Maybe I just need to lay down and listen to music for a whole day, that usually helps me when I want to brainstorm for picture/story ideas The only thing that's really hindering me from starting this is my writing skills honestly. They're okkkk...but still not exactly the way I want them to be when it comes to making fan fiction for already existing stories XD; I can always picture it so perfectly in my mind, but it's difficult to put it on paper in a way so that others can see it the way I do as well, without overdoing it. So I'll most likely be looking into the writing styles of other fan fiction authors this summer But until then, I still plan on drawing more pictures/scenes from it!~ ~Sigh~ If only I had a tablet, I could make this into a fan fiction comic o x o It would be much easier >w< ( I am better at drawing things out from my head than writing them out )
