Description I was planning on doing something elaborate for today, but I decided against it. I realized that whatever I made wasn’t gonna mean more than what I am putting to words currently. Anyway, let’s talk about Star Wars.

But man, I just wanted to first say thank you to anyone who helped make this series possible.

First there are the actors and actresses. This series launched the career of Mark Hamill, an actor who would go on to be the face of the series and be the true voice of The Joker in The Batman Animated Series. It also launched the career of the great Carrie Fisher. I had the pleasure of meeting Carrie Fisher when I was 11 years old at New York Comic-Con back in 2012, and she was the sweetest woman you would meet. I remember where I was when I heard she had a heart attack and later passed away back in 2016. But I feel like even in her death, her legacy of “hope” that her character shows throughout the series lives on. And all the fans will remember that until the end of time. Thank you, Princess Leia. May the force be with you.

Literally everyone who acted in this series is God-Tier in my book. Harrison Ford, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, Ian McDermont, James Earl-Fucking-Jones, Warwick Goddamn Davis, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christiansen, Samuel L Jackson, Christopher Lee, Frank Oz, Felicity Jones, and so many more. Thank you.

Then there are the people behind the camera. The directors: JJ, Rian Johnson, Gareth Edwards, Ron Howard. The production companies: Fox, Disney, Lucasfilm. And then the man who created it all: George Fucking Lucas.

Say what you want about George Lucas, but the man made the perfect franchise in 1977. Star Wars has endless potential storylines, characters, and lessons to teach. I don’t care if he “ruined” the series in 1999. He MADE the fucking series.

Then there are us fans. I think people have been overly negative to the past couple of movies because they “aren’t the originals”. (Everyone has the right to their own opinion, but) THE FIRST MOVIE IS A SPACE ODYSSEY ABOUT TWO ROBOTS AND A FUCKING BEAR FIGHTING AGAINST SPACE NAZIS! My point is that the series is stupid, but that’s what makes it great. You can watch these movies and be entertained, and if you choose, take something from it.

So, if you want to, I’d like for you to comment your 3 favorite Star Wars moments. You can be as vague as you wish. I think it would be nice to see what you guys like in the series.

For me, it’s:
1. When Darth Maul comes back in the Clone Wars and just fucks with Obi-Wan. Absolutely STELLAR storytelling!
2. Darth Vader hallway scene in Rogue One. I wasn’t expecting it and it was fucking bad ass.
3. In The Rise of Skywalker when Luke lifts the X-Wing for Rey. I feel like it was the completion of his story arch. Yoda did it in the 80s, and now Luke did. The score plays Yoda’s theme as Luke gives that “fuck yeah” smirk.

In the end, I just wanted to say thank you Star Wars. You’ve created something that everyone can love. Thank you.

Honestly the new Disney stuff isn't great. Rogue One, Episode 7, 1st 4 and last 4 episodes of season 7 of the Clone wars, and the mandolorian are the only good things .

I wouldn’t call the “not great” but I agree that the clone wars stuff is better than rebels and parts of 8 and 9

Yeah but that's because George had the story stay focus on how the entire story and history of the universe are respected and influence each entry into the universe. Ever since Disney bought it, there are too many focus on agenda, pleasing critics/ China, and no respect to source material.
