Aliens VS Predatorby D.Hirajeta
With 2 awesome movies and loads of comics and novels under each other's belts, The first AVP movie blew hard as somebody gave the movie to Joel Schmacher(sp?) to direct. Famed for killing Batman and other series, Fans had their most heart felt dreams of a an AVP movie that would, for God's Sake, follow the friggn comic!, torn right out of their chest and murdered right in front of them.
So AVP2 is coming out and I cringe at the torture that awaits my soul, but they are off to a good start by making it rated R, not PG13 like the last one. OK, I'm done ranting...well OK I'm not but I'll stop because I'm hungry. Enjoy!
Aliens and Predator are copyright by Dark Horse and some other film studio, obviously not my ideas...unfortunately.

I can't remember which Aliens story it gets used in, but basically it just one of their evolutionary steps. Most times they don't need to cause they are freakishly tough to kill anyhow, but if it turns out they can't beat somthing they try to sample it. They took it to the extreme with their toy line making some unnecessary (allbeit very cool looking) Gorilla ALien, Snake Alien, Bull Alien, and Bat Alien, etc. I mean some of those things are too small for a face hugger to get around. I'll repost if I can find the right comic. But it's an ALien comic not a pred comic. I think maybe the PC game might have been the first to use the Predalien

haha, ya, but, they are like 3x more powerful than a normal xeno...specificly picked to guard the queen....though it would make sence to use them in the movies...specialy since they ARE ment to guard the pretoran alien..which turnsinto a queen...or carrier....or ravager.....nasty things pretorans.....

i got a few reprints...they bound a gew of the comics into big comicbooks and called them omnibus's. i got like...i think 2 aliens....1 pred...and one avp....i got a pred sketch i did out of the predator omnibus...but i added the staff and the dead alien. i got one of the new avp comics...a small book...avp: civilized beasts

Wow, you have no idea how far my AVP love goes. I've been collecting action figures, comics, games and countless other stuff since I was a little girl and fell in love with the movies. The Alien and Predator was the first thing I can recall being a fan of.
The AVP movies were horrible, but I still got a stupid simple joy out of seeing my two favorite creatures in battle.
Your art definitely does AVP justice though!

To tell you the truth, I've always been on the side of the Alien. I adored playing as the Alien in the AVP game for pc, but I was terrible at playing as the Predator... I still love him though!

Here Here! I'd have love to see a Protoreon Gaurd (sp?) like in the comics. My Favorite alien ever! Predator just has too many options to remember.

I've always liked the King Alien that made an apperance in the comic book "Rogue." It was pretty bad ass! I sure would love to see that thing in a video game or movie.
I don't think I've read the comic book with the Alien you mentioned, although in the AVP games for pc there was a creature called a Pretorian. Maybe they are similar? There was also the PredAlien (I hated fighting those things).

Pretorian is right , they were drones that were given royal jelly and became like 100times stronger than drones, so much that they couldn't wall walk anymore because they were too heavy.
I can't remember which Aliens series it was but the humans started synthesizing it and called it Xeno-zip and if a human took it he became a insane killing machine until you blew him to pieces, other wise he'd still keep going.

Oh I think I know that one! Is it the comic called "Genocide?" I remember lots of people taking xeno-zip in it and later they went to an Alien planet. There was two different species of Aliens there in a war against each other. It was a pretty brutal comic!

Hehehe, it's the one fandom I've never grown out of! I'm a life long fan and anyone who's an AVP fan is instantly awesome in my eyes!
