I normally hate the character Orko (from He-Man), but I have been thinking lately that I might not dislike him so much if he were ... well, useful.So, here's badass Orko. I hope.

Orko always had potential to be impressive. Stick him in a situation where his magic works correctly (like back onΒ Trolla)Β and give him a reason... and yeah, I think he could live up the impressive image you created here.

I think that Orko would be cooler if 1. he had his amulet and therefore didn't fail at magic. 2. Trollans were more eastern looking and had less squeaky voices. Otherwise Orko is just a little blue JarJar Binks.

I always loved the character of Orko! He means well. Even though he doesn't always do what he sets out to do.

I always liked the Trollans by concept, so I don't feel Orko was useless, either, and have ideas on why his magic doesn't work like it ought to. He did get annoying at times-- and the 200x-era generally abused him; apparently the creators hated him, too. His VA and scripting could have been better, but I don't think deeper, "normal" voices suit the Trollans. Certainly something less jarringly squeaky could have been possible, though...

orko is not that useless
he probly is having a hard time with his magic and the people around him (mostly Man-at-Arms, no offense to those who like him though)

I always thought he'd be cooler if he had a deeper voice with a larger vocabulary, I guess like a floating blue Gandalf. I think it's really great that you keep mixing up the poses and trying new things. It really looks like your talent has grown exponentially over the last couple of drawings.

I don't know that my talent has grown - I think I've just gotten less lazy.
