**EDIT 5/29/11: Uploaded a hi res file for aspiriing inkers/colorists to play with. Credit and link back to me once you're done and all's cool. Enjoy! **It's been awhile, so I thought I'd upload a few sketches I've worked on that I kinda like. Enjoy!
Here's a standard Kitty Pryde and Lockheed sketch where she's shifting through something, using her powers. I kinda dig it! Lockheed was a rough task without reference around, although I think it turned out alright overall. I like her hair in this piece-- just sayin'.

Hey Mr. Man, my husband just finally discovered your work today and though this one is an oldie, I'm wondering if you've still got the high res floating around somewhere for me to slap some ink and color onto.
He's very picky about art when it comes to Kitty, and he's dying to see colors on this one, so that's a pretty high complement coming from him!

Excellent picture! Really captures the spirit of my favourite X-(wo)man! Love the hair indeed. Glad you gave her some curls. Many people seem to forget that these days.

I think it's less curls for me and more wavy-- whereas she had curls for awhile, her character has ALWAYS had waves, and I try to stick to the character first and foremost. Thanks for the kind words! Always nice to meet another Pryde fan.

I like her hair, too! And pretty much everything else. Her expression is great, and I like the sense of movement of the pic...it really feels like their running through the wall. Her expression is way cute, and the anatomy and the details on her outfit all look great. I'm not terribly familiar with Lockheed an what he should look like, but he looks pretty awesome here. : )

I agree with you on Kitty's hair coming out rather nicely. You did fine on Lockheed - in fact overall I'd say this is much improved over the Kitty & Lockheed sketch of yours I have that you gave me from the leftovers from Tiki-Con 2008. Seeing the two really demonstrates the growth in your work. Good job!

Lockheed? Yeah, he's the best. I've loved any time he's appeared in the comics since I was a kid in the 80s.

Not in my comics-- in the X-Men comics Marvel has been putting out since 1963. Lockheed debuted in the early 80s as a partner to Kitty Pryde aka Shadowcat-- and has quite the cool story in and of himself! Lockheed is awesome.
I believe artist Paul Smith designed and created him. Paul has also done work on the absolutely AMAZING Leave it to Chance series-- which also has a tiny dragon in it by the name of St. George. Great book. Highly recommended.

its funny you mentioned this cause I went to scad today (friday) and we had a comic colorist speaker showed us examples of some x-men/marvle pages she did that were pretty good.
