yep i think hes better than the hulk simply because he doesnt HAVE to win or it breaks his character. he can lose, but its not often, and when he does, he always comes back again.

He's a great character, he really is. The down-on-his-luck angle with the grin-and-bear-it attitude is awesome with Ben.
