This is my fan art drawing of grave of the fireflies. My favorite movie of all time. Pose and drawing is entirely mine. The whole world needs to see this movie. It was so .....just see it please. In the end this is the feeling we get from the movie. I think. I hope i captured it, just as Setsuko and Seita have captured these fireflies. The feeling of nostalgic happiness, through all the chaos and confusion in this world, we'll find a jar full of fireflies.Related content

I knew about this movie for ages but never had courage to watch it until 2 days ago.. It was the saddest thing I've ever seen and it left a great impact on me - wonderful picture , I think you captured them perfectly

I've never seen such a realistic movie and how that war affects on people and how that war creates the toughest circumstances we would ever face.

I totally agree with u...I've been looking for victims to make them watch this movie..so far I already made 10 ppl watch it XD...I really want everyone to watch it at least once...such a sad yet beautiful film...i get choked up everytime i watch it no matter how many times...and after watchin it, it leaves u thinking for hours..maybe days ^^

There are two movies out of hundreds of movies I have seen that I have ever cried on. One, The Lion king the other Graveyard of the fireflys. although amazingly done (both this pic and the movie), I will never ever see this movie ever again. I think you kno why. All said and done I still greatly recommend the movie as well.

btw its amaizing how you capturesd love and effection of the sibling in your picture while if I ever respond to the move with a picture would be filled with dark and hopeless blots of agony. Never have a movie ever crumpled my emotions like this one.

Grave of the Fireflies, I've never heard of it, but since I am committed to staying home for awhile, I know I'll be watching it really soon. Such a cute picture, and the pose and lighting is simply amazing.
The pieces of grass closest in the picture are also really nice, gives a nice feeling in the picture-aside from a warm feeling from the fireflies. It is another amazing picture, the two in the picture look so content just being there. I think the skin could use some more deep colours to give some more depth, but that's just me liking the fact I always go overboard on shading. Beautiful picture, congratulations on another well done piece of artwork!
