It's simple, you have your morals and I have mine. I don't need to hear your morals and you don't need to hear mine.So don't force your morals on everybody else, cause that makes you a huge jerk.

Even in less extreme cases a lot of people know whats right and wrong and morally decent. Ex. Not discriminating based on race/sexuality etc. If we stand up to people and tell them to xut their shit how exactly is that bad when what the other side is doing is thousands of times worse? I see no logic in this.

No one should have any thing forced on them. As a Christian, I don't believe in forcing God's Word unto someone if they don't want to hear it. Jesus told his followers that if someone doesn't want to listen to you, wipe the dust off your feet and go somewhere else. Christians shouldn't hit people over the head with God's Word (the Bible). As a Christian, I understand that not everyone will believe in God and not everyone wants to listen. I respect that. Being mean and obnoxious is no way to reach people with God's Word. Christianity is about spreading God's Message with love, peace and kindness. God doesn't want us to be jerks about it. We can share our beliefs with people but never force it on them. We can disagree with each other but we shouldn't be jerks to each other.
This goes for people on the Right and the Left, Christian, Non-Christian, Gay and Straight.

This is precisely why I have problems with other Christians who are more zealous than myself - I am perfectly content with letting others have their own beliefs and morals so long as they do the same towards me. But the vocal Christians who keep shouting about their moral outrage toward anyone in society they see as going against their dogma have long-earned my ire.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

If somebody asks me about my faith and wishes to learn more about it, I am happy to talk about it and - if they are willing - point them toward the faith in this manner. One does not bring someone into faith by obnoxiously shouting it at them or trying to force it upon them by means of the law. Authoritarian means is no way to spread any idea.
