Now THIS is a bit special.

It is one of my first true animations.
At first it started as a test to see if the colors were okays, then the proprotions, then, well...it just snowballed.
You might notice that it is somewhat similar to one of my early drawing: Knuckles the guardian.

Man, I know, it is not very good.I still have a LONG way to go here. It took me 4 hours to make for a measly 22 seconds.

On the plus side, it allowed me to weed out a ridiculous bug with Sparks eyebrows that tripled the rendering time.

Oh, in case you are wondering about the text, it is just that I haven't gotten to the part when I actually add sound and music to my animations.
This scene is loosley based on episode 27 of my serie: Doom Island.

No don't worry, once I really start producing it is going to be much better, I promise. That's what training are for I guess. I just shows these to help me progress, and for moral support.

You may notice two very different sets of mouth animations: I've used two techniques: one for Knuckles, and one for Sparks.

Which is best?( personally I think Sparks technique is better, although a bit more time consuming).

Moral of the story: I should learn how to storyboard properly instead of winging it on the go.

I'm sorry for the glitchy image, but for SOME #$%?&* reasons, Deviantart just won't accept anything else than a shockwave flash animation.
