Description Sort of a lost concept that was kind of revived due to a certain game's influence.

Eclair in her Archer Equip form, and I think you can probably guess whose form she took (it's in the name).

As a refresher: Servant Cards are generated once a Master and Servant have reached a certain threshold in their bond (50% at least), and the Card is a sign of trust. Servant Cards can be used in two ways: weapon form, in which the card takes the form of the Servant's preferred weapon, which is the most common way to use, since it uses less magic potential.

The other way is to equip, which the Master holds the Servant card to the chest, and command "Equip". In Equip Form, the Master directly taps into the Servant's powers, and this is also reflected in the outfit change, and also catered to genders, so a female Master will wear the female variant of the Servant's outfit, for instance. Generally speaking, cards are not fooled by androgynous appearances, so the outfit form will reflect on that.

Initially, I had suggested that Servant Cards are a last resort form of equip, but thanks to stabilizing ley lines, these can be equipped and cast off (under the "Remove" command) at any moment, or if the Master runs out of magic potential, whichever comes first. However, the "one Equip at any time" rule still applies, so a foolish Master that tries to equip two Servant Cards at the same time will only cause a magic explosion, with a curious side effect of blowing off all clothing except for underwear.

Anyway, that's enough rambling, and hope you enjoy Eclair's Archer Equip form.

Eclair (c)
