NOTE: I will be updating this deviation as time passes by.WARNING: Contains GTS-related content.
So here you go: using various shapes to draw figures and such. I have had a soft spot for Yuriko, so I chose her as the model this time. I'm pretty bad with scaling, though.
Doesn't seem like Yuriko likes being big, though.

I saw the version of this from before as well as the update now and it certainly looks pretty nice. I do like the shading work but it could use more vehicles.
If this is the graded project from your class thingie, I hope you get a good grade. If it's not, I still think you get a good grade!

now you're getting there, slowly but surely -w- keep it up! Β this one's a bit on the lanky side, i'd suggest narrowing the shoulders a bit, too. Β
more importantly, though, rather than worry about finishing this one, your time is better spent drawing more pictures with shapes (while actively thinking about the shapes you're using and how they relate to the real thing) so that you can get good with the method owoΒ
