lol, i'm using Windows Movie Maker also XD
i figured it out, thanks for the help
i ended up converting a youtube video into a mp3 file, then converting the mp3 file into a .wav file, which WMM can read
i've started working.. it's gonna take forever, i've gotten basic sketches for the turns done, and like, three frames done.. and that took me a couple hours XD

Hello! I would like to make an animation of this type with the same movement, music but with different characters.

Well, how I made this animation was to observe the other animations based off of this, have it replaying, and draw the movements out. I had to draw out every frame, but there may be easier ways, hahaa~ XD
It's not a terribly long animation, though. I'd say ... 100 something frames? I used GIMP to make this. But at the time, I didn't know how to animate in PS. |D There are so many things I'd like to correct, though, because it does look kind of fast and a bit jerky, in my opinion.
Anyway, PS and Flash work pretty well for animations, though you could try GIMP if you have nothing else.

one more thing, I thought that to make the movement a character I have to draw all the moves and put them in frames to achieve the movement of dance.
