Description
This is my most recent full-out CG. I did this piece for an off-site art contest (and I could have won if this were not entered as a WIP....)I pulled out all the stops on this one, and I used every trick I had learned so far on this baby. It's still not finished, and I lack the heart to finish it with any justice in mind. ... I intend to finish it one of these days, though. *sigh*
And for all you hard-core Bionicle fans out there, I hope the backdrop I chose evokes fond memories for all of you (as I had intended.) *grin*

Have a collection up to the 2007 series... I was just a tad bit too late to get the very first Toa... I started with the toa nuva in 2002... but everything Bionicle related that Lego released between 2002 and 2007 is in my possession...

Even incomplete, it looks amazing. The background is perfectly like the MNOLG, complete with the lily pads of Ga-Koro... Hahli looks great, and I'd imagine Hahli Mahri will be beautiful when she's colored. The composition is great, too, with Hahli reaching into the water toward her future self...
Hard to critique the underwater scene as it's still a WIP, but I think the stems would be better if they were some dark shade of green, drawing less attention to themselves as well as looking more natural.
