~*~*~*~STORY ( 275 words)~*~*~
"I am sure, this will be an awesome run today! Don't you think so?"
Renkin and Devan just arrived at the meetingpoint for the Skunk avenue country race and leaded there shedus out of the trailer.
Devan just sighed and took Dreams halter.
"What? The weather is fine, the moon is shining and our cats are in best conditions!" Renkin laught, but Devan just stand there and put the tack on his shedu, as silent as ever. But Devans desinteresst didn't ruin Renkins good mood. He let Devan be and looked after his new sheducat Havocheart, who was a little bit nervous after standing in the trailer so long.
The cat hated to be caged and he was not very happy to be in the trailer with Dreamcatcher at all. Renkin gave him some dead mices to soft his mood and than started to put his tack on too.
As he looked over to Devan and Dream he thought again >>I know why they both get along so well with each other. Both are very silent and Devan respects totaly Dreams privacy.<<
With Renkin and Havocheart it wasn't that easy. Hevocheart was a little bit difficult, but till now Renkin had not so many problems with him. Fortunatly he found out that the big cat loves mices, so he had a little help for controlling him.
Both cats where ready and so the riders also put there savingclothes and helmet on. Renkin was totaly right, the weather was hot but clear and at 10 p.m. the starting signal sounded and althought the night was coming over the desert, the moon shined with a white light.
