Description
Another fanart dedicated to the greatness ot The Protomen.This one's from the end of the song "Sons of Fate", just after the last battle and before Mega Man dooms humanity and walks away in the rain.
Protman is dead, and Mega Man leaves what remains of his brothers by the door to Wily's keep, as an icon of man's cowardice. The grounds is littered with oil, bullets and cracks.
Using some of the oil still pouring out of what used to be his right arm Mega Man draws the marks of his father on a piece of his thorn mantle, and pin it to a pole creating a flag of both victory, and defeat.
After that, he turns his back on Wily's fortress and walks away through the speechless crowd of humans who stands there, stunned by the battle that they've just have witnessed.
A single drop of oil silently runs down Mega Man's face.
A tear for his lost brother, or just another wound upon his scarred body.
No one knows.

Yes, that is indeed a bossdoor in the end of that corridor, designed ithe way it should be D.S

Thanks! I did most of these way back in 2006 and since then, I haven't done any more really, I might do some more someday, I want to, but I have no time as it is sand have been of late

Thanks! Yeah I decided early on when I started doing The Protomen fanarts (back in 06) that I wanted my robots to be robots and not humans in android suits or the likes

Yeh, that's just before he says "You are the dead" and leave humanity to its fate (which can't be very nice, considering the amount of robots still standing and humanitys ability to fight them 
Dunno if that's exactly what happens lore-wise,but it seems like it, reading the manual from the protomen's album atleast

Wow, I've just gotta jump on the amazing-details-bandwagon--this is great! The cracks and bullet holes in the stairs are an especially nice touch. I can't even count how many shells litter the background @_@
If I could make one suggestion: I think if you started using lines of different thickness, or even just a slightly thicker line around the main subject of your drawings, you could make the characters *pop* out more and make the eye feel less confused without sacrificing the really awesome detail.
Still this is exceptional work--you do a stupendous job of capturing the story behind the songs. Rock on, man.

Yeah man, I know, I've got a real life-long issue with being pretty good with details but kinda not so good with making it all look good in perspective xD
Some say I've really nailed all that in "Send your Armies" [link] but that was just luck if I even nailed it at all
Gotta keep trying I guess, sharped lines the closer something gets and blurrier in the back is indeed the way to go, I just gotta remove that voice in my head telling me to do all equally detailed

Yes. Same as on MegaMan's Protoman's and Rolls badgethings. Dark Protoman has "bad" on his badge for he with hawkeyes.

Hehe, thanks. Yeah, well, people keeps telling me this. However, I'd say it's not about patience .. it about this feeling I always have in me head when I draw. Basically it's "why stop when you can do that .. and oh .. I gotta add that".
