I guess I'm here throwing my hat into this whole "brony" topic. Please note: I don't have anything against the show nor anything against their sane fans, I have tried an episode and didn't care for it. I got the idea from this stamp actually [link] It was very hard to decide a color for the text, But I think this one, though unusual, it's readable and looks professional.

A lot of people are comparing the MLP fan-base to the Sonic fan-base in terms to how bad the fan-base is getting. But I actually view MLP to be like Sonic in terms of popularity (A franchise that is meant to be for kids but appeals to adults, yet kind of overated) and the fan-base to be more like furries by getting sensitive over every little thing said about their show or fan-base. They also have this kind of I would call "lingo" which is a way the way they speak over the internet to their fandom. Examples are "brohoof" or "welcome to the herd." I guess it's kind of like the Sonic fan-base in terms of the fan-base when your talking about how sensitive they get when anything is said about their show.

This goes with all fan-bases, when something gets insane fans, they get their haters. And those haters never are going to go away. Instead, you just need to learn how to simply adapt to them and learn how to ignore them. Regardless of how much bashing the show gets, just remain liking it without saying anything that makes you look but-hurt about it. Not only that, when a sensitive fan-base emerges, a line of trolls also emerge do to easy targets. Whenever you hear "MLP is for girls" or anything like that, that may actually just be troll logic, they like to crack jokes like that to see how many responses from bronies they can get. It could also just be someone acting like a douchebag, but in the end, it's just not really worth your time to respond to anything. If you like the show, that's great, just continue to enjoy it without going saying "haters gonna hate" or "OMG you need to watch the show first!!!!!" and jumping into assumptions that people hate bronies, or they hate the show. I've learned that many people on the internet really aren't worth your time and the best thing to do is to avoid the stupid and pointless controversy.

Yes, I'm aware that not all bronies fap to MLP pornography, I'm aware that not all of them are insane. It takes me a lot more then a fandom to judge who you are as a person. But when I give my honest opinion on the show, I expect you to respect it. I just find it a little insane to make assumptions that I hate the all bronies like it's a religion or something.
