Description The Heavy Assault Weapon Mobile ARMOUR T-23 "Simolestes" is a combination of a submarine and a flying weapons platform.
It was build in a coalition between Zeonic and Anaheim, and is currently in service for the forces of the Republic of Zeon.
With a total length of 155 meters and a maximum wingspan of 70 meters, it is a truly massive weapon. It's armaments are of a wide variety, consisting of six Mega-Particle Cannons, seven Missile-Launchers with eight launch-tubes each, twenty Torpedo-Tubes, one superheavy Mega-Particle Canon and six Beam Canon Turrets for self defense.
It is powered by six high-output Minovsky Reactors, is equipped with a Minovsky-Flight System and a plethera of propulsion and navigation thrusters, including four large thrusters for foreward acceleration. The "Simolestes" is capable of flying up to heights of 1200 meters and submerging itself up to  depths of 900 meters and can be modified for usage in the vacuum of space.
Special features of the MA include an advanced, long-range, optical sensor; a variable magnetic field to control the spread of the main Mega-Particle Canon, the armoured cover for the Beam-Turrets, the subconcious Psycommu self-defense uplink for afformentioned turrets and the retractable mounting for the Mega-Particle Cannons in the "wings"
The pilot is controlling the "Simolestes" through an advanced Psycommu-Cockpit, the only way a System of this complexity can be handeled by a human Pilot, thereby effectively restricting the variety of pilots to Newtypes.

This is an interesting design, since the submersible MA haven't had a lot of attention. It was nice to see another one recently  in Gundam Thunderbolt, but by and large they have been rare beasties!  Too bad, but then the Earth 's oceans have been a neglected battlefield, and an excellent hiding place for a savvy Zeon Remnant Force.

It's nice that you like it
I always loved the giant MA's with tons of powerful weapons tucked into every nook and cranny.
As for the savvy Zeon Remnant Force, I don't think there are any left by the time this rolled out of the Zeonic/Anaheim forges (note Zeonic AND Anaheim, meaning this is YEARS after the OYW). And I doubly doubt some remnant hat the capabilitys to retain, repair and supply a machine as complicated and ammo-hungry.
