i thought it over powered the whole image ( a little bit ). but it seems that
you need the two icons /symbols on your comps to maintain the relation thru out the series.
the same with the Robyn comp, it's amazing, but i thought the cape and the yellow bars were
a bit overwhelming, just the ® and the mask was just perfect. i hope you don't take my point of views as a science graphic communication student the wrong way. i know for facts and experiences
that people (especially in public domains like deviantArt or flickr ) do not like to take and can not handle criticism on their work: they feel offended and very sensitive to the matter.
-heck!, don't take my opinions seriously, i am just a student.

I love being critiqued, so thank you so much for adding your opinion. I'm a student as well, so no worries.
I agree with you on the Robin one, I might adjust it in the future.
As for the shield, I felt like it needed to be overwhelming, because the shield is the main icon/symbol of Captain America, plus the size is proportionally correct as well, so it all works out together.
