I wish I had an older brother. Being the oldest girl I was the one giving all the piggyback rides.
"giddy up!" 
I kinda got tired of doing sketches for the website, so I quickly drew this one for fun. I imagine Banjo would have been a great big brother.
I wonder where Tooty went after BK...

I really like this cute picture, I really like the way you draw the Banjo-Kazooie cast, their expressions and features are very distunguished and interesting, I'm also glad your fanart includes Tooty too.

I've always thought that Tooty just became a teenager, is all. As in, she wouldn't really be focused on the relationship that her and Banjo shared as brother and sister anymore, but instead, she'd be obsessing over boys and would be out of the house all of the time, shopping with her friends and talking on her cellphone and as a result, she'd be far too busy to even play a role in any of the other games.
Maybe she became mischievous and got herself into some serious trouble, by which the consequences would be keeping her wherever she is. Tooty's backstory has never really been explained in great detail other than the fact that she was the sister of Banjo, so maybe she was mischievous to begin with.
If none of those things, though, her love for adventure probably led her to run away from home and go on an adventure of her own; one that she has not returned from in years. Maybe she's found her ideal paradise and has decided to stay there and never go back. That theory seems like the most plausible one out of them all, to me.
Either way, the whole thing about Tooty's whereabouts is really all just up in the air, but those are just some theories of mine.
This is a great picture, though. You did a really wonderful job. It would have been interesting if she would have had a cameo in Nuts & Bolts.

I've come up with a few stories of my own, but who knows what happened to her.
Maybe she'll come back in the next game, that is if Rare does another BK game

Also, Rare IS making another game, but they claim that they're going to be using the best parts of Nuts & Bolts and that could mean the vehicle based gameplay... I mean, I Nuts & Bolts sequel may not be SO bad, but Rare knows that a Banjo-Kazooie 3 would be even better and they know that's what the fans want. I mean, Nuts & Bolts is a game about a game and the characters within that game are taunting the players. Gruntilda makes fun of everybody's new character designs and points out that Banjo and Kazooie don't have their special abilities anymore. Kazooie is always constantly complaining about it, too -- so Rare knows what they're doing. Either they're making us wait in anticipation for Banjo-Kazooie 3, or they're just being mean.

The way the characters are complaining about he new designs and gameplay, it sounds like the team was sort of "forced" to use the vehicle idea. Not that it was a bad idea, but it wasn't what people wanted, especially after not having Banjo Kazooie for so long.
Even with Kinect and all that going on people are still begging for a new Banjo game. Les see if Rare follows through

This is adorable.
I'd really love to see Banjo and Tooty acting like this in a Banjo game sometime, but it'd probably be riddled with sarcasm and wit. XD
But yeah I can easily see Banjo as the Cool Big Brother type, and with Kazooie maybe acting as the Cool Big Sister type so long as no one else knew.
