Description
before looking down to where all the names are at, how many of them can you name?on a side note, these aren't all his supporting cast and allies. just the ones i wanted to draw.

Oh, and I missed 4: Betty Brant (who I called Dr. Connors wife for some reason...maybe because she was next to him), Captain Marvel (I'm still used to her being Ms. Marvel), Glory Grant (just forgot her name), Jean DeWolff (I'm not too familiar with that character. ^.^

The only ones I'm surpirsed isn't on there is the Human Torch, Iceman and Firestar.

Firestar is a she. She was created because the "Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends" cartoon couldn't use the Human Torch for legal reasons, also they made her look like Mary Jane to give Spidey a love interest (as the two had dated in a few episodes).

Spidey is close friends with Spider-woman and Ms. Marvel. Spidey gave Spider-woman permission to use his name and Ms. Marvel and Spidey had a mutual attraction to one another...though that didn't go anywhere. Also it helps that spidey is an Avenger.

I think I got them all except for five of them, and I can't believe I didn't think of 'Curt Connors' when I stumbled across "brown-haired guy next to Betty Brant" even though I've read some of the old comics and he was pretty prominent in the 90s Spider-Man cartoon (which I was pretty devoted to watching.)
As for the drawing itself, this is a pretty impressive piece of work. You not only worked out a style that could plausibly be used in a new cartoon, but managed to work subtle details like differences in jaw and head shape, or hair shape, within the rather simple style. A good example of this is Curt Connors and Harry Osborn. They have the most visual similarities between them and yet even the hair shape, jaws, and even width of the noses makes it easy to tell them apart. (Yes I stumbled on Connors' name, but I KNEW from looking at the picture that he was not an Osborn.) Moreover, I find it funny that Peter Parker has the dour, serious face, but you gave Ben Rielly the happy one.
(Also, spinning off from your earlier journal entry, was Ultimate Spider-Man really that disappointing?)

Very nice. Loving the new looks on the guys, and imho Peter on the top looks a bit like Scott Pilgrim. Just how you drew him, with the eyebrows and eyes, he just reminds me of him.

I had everyone until Carol Danvers. Then I only had Spider-Woman, Ben Urich, Black Cat, Eddie Brock, AraΓ±a, Anti-Venom, and Venom. :b I recognized Ben Riley JUST before I read his name, and I didn't recognize Kaine because his face isn't scarred.

Depends on the continuity. In the Ultimate Spider-Man universe they were childhood friends, and in the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon they were very close friends, to the point they considered each other brothers.
