The background is lovely, as usual, but the faerie person almost looks like an afterthought. ^_^;
You should try to make it seem more as though she really *is* there by changing the shading and such. Otherwise, stunning, icy job! ^^

Yes you're right, the tubes do sometimes look like that, I really should have tried shading, I am far too impatient for my own good sometimes
