It actually wasn't all that silent XDAnyway, this is, of course, based off of the scene in Fran Bow where Dr. Deern drives Fran to the cemetery.

It kinda makes me sad that Dr.Deern had to forget about Fran.
Sense by the end of the game, he was the only human being she had left.

Same. I kinda wished they never made Dr. Deern forget about Fran, he turned out to be such a dear...n... sorry. Especially since he'd just seen Palontres and Itward, he would've finally believed her.
To be honest he seems like such a sweet fatherly figure for Fran (well Itward too) since she doesn't have her parents there for her anymore.
Idk man I'm rambling. This game gives me so much feels (especially that ending omg)
Anywho! Great art! Definitely one of my favourite parts of the game. Really makes you start thinking 'what the hell is actually going on here?'.

I completely agree! I actually thought I was the only one who saw Dr.Deern as a fatherly figure for Fran. And I feel like I'm in the minority when I say I achually give a crap about him.
Poor Dr.Deern, beaten by his father, losses his job, gets kidnapped by a big shadowy creature, then is left out from the happy ending. And all he wanted to do was help and protect Fran. I feel so bad for him DX

Yes! So nice to see someone who thinks the same!I think Dr. Deern is a great character and it's sad that he's not appreciated by the fandom as much, he's so nice. He needs a hug.
I'm so down for like just retconning the ending and adding Dr. Deern in there, he deserves the happy ending too and Fran deserve another human she can trust.

Yeah! Dr.Deern seems like the only human she trusts,
with her parents gone and her aunt betraying her (plus, Itward killed her, so...)
I achually have a silly head-canon where the entire sequence of the final chapter
was a dream and Fran was in the hospital because she fell into a coma at the graveyard
by seeing a hallucination of Remor, fainting, and hitting her head hard on the concrete.
And she wakes up to find Dr.Deern didn't forget about her.
Yep... That's how much I want Dr.Deern to remember her XD

Plus, he is a doctor and having a doctor as her adoptive father has it's advantages. He'd always be able to cater towards her mental needs. He's just all around a good guy, 10/10 great dad for Fran.

That's a good point! Especially if Fran was going to be interacting with the real world,
He would be a good guide through life sense he understands mental illness and it's effects on her.

I love this scene because it's a point where it gets the player REALLY thinking about all that has happened. Also, it gives more info. on the twins death. I still don't understand it >.< idk why they're so important in the game..
