Description Whew, finally done with this! I’ve been wanting to draw these four together for a long time (honestly I can’t believe I haven’t yet ), and I had the thought recently that it would be fun to draw some FE characters in a modern setting, so this idea came about I think I’ve had some form of artist’s block recently which made working on something like this (with four characters and a full background O_o) a little more difficult than usual, eheh But I think I’m getting over it now and it’s nice to be posting something again!

This was my first time coloring on my new laptop, which has a somewhat different color display from my old one, so please let me know if anything looks off! I tested it on my old screen a few times so hopefully I found a good balance between the two.

Hector was the man. On my FE7 playthrough I would send all my units one way and then Hector the other and they would clear their side of the map around the same time.

That's... great, in the idea as in the drawing. You really respected the original design of the characters, while adding your own style. I really like their modern outfit and their faces; the anatomy is perfect, too. So nice!

Nope, colours are totally fine looking from my computer

I really like what you've done with the girls' clothes ! You can totally recognize the inspiration from their real outfit. I particularly like Ninian's belt, I wouldn't have thought it could look that much cool in a modern context. I would like to have the same !

Well, this sure is interesting. ^^
Eliwood and Ninian have to be my favorite original Pairing in all of Fire Emblem, so I surely approve of this. ^^ Lynn and Hector...well... I guess it's okay...I'm just more likely to pair Lyndis with Rath, but that's just me. This still looks good too.

I think what impresses me most, is HOW you managed to develope the modern day clothing for all of them, while still retaining the qualities that make them Fire Emblem characters. ^^
This is really nicely done, and to get all 4 characters to look this good, all on the same page, it surely was an endeavor well worked at. A well deserved ^^

Ha, Hector and Lyn are actually one of my all-time favorite FE couples Everyone has their preference though – I can certainly understand why so many people pair Lyn with Rath.

Rath Saved Lyn more than once, they are both Sacae...and to me, they are the best parents to have given birth to Sue, in the former game, FE 6...those were my reasons.
For Hector, I never really knew WHO to pair him with. When I got through Hector's story the first time, I ended up giving him Farina...but somehow, I wonder if it would have been a bit cuter, if I gave him Florina...

Wow! When you make a come back you do it in a huge way!

I love the couple interactions!! And all the little details on the outfits are great! Like the little borders and trims, the wristbands and braclets are so neat! And cool effect on the trim! Has the old canvas painter edge to it. Great work! I like that the background is a bit fuzzy but still so well defined. I love that trick for making it sink back.

I had a lot of fun with all the outfit details, trying to find ways to incorporate the original designs in modern clothes I did a lot of experimenting with the background, trying to make sure it didn't distract too much from the characters and such - so glad to hear it came out well!
