I'm glad you enjoyed it! Aww, that stinks! The SoM movie... it was a hot mess. I don't mind when a screenwriter changes things from a movie, but clearly the guy they hired to do the adaptation was a terrible writer. The movie was difficult to follow even for me, and I've read the book, and the characters fell flat. Annabeth was a weak girl who constantly relied on Percy, and Percy had none of the personality that he had in the novel. He spent most of the movie whining about how he wasn't good enough anymore, and quite frankly it was very annoying. The best part of the movie were the castings for Hermes and Dionysus; Nathan Fillion and Stanley Tucci were spot on. Otherwise... ugh. I couldn't deal with it; I nearly walked out of the theater. They spoiled things from the fifth book and took a dagger to the beautiful plotline Riordan constructed! Okay, enough about that. I will be sure to tell you about the book release discussion! I'm so excited.

I figure that the actor they got for Hermes was good and that sucks. And thank you! I can't believe they did that to the movie! glad i'm waiting for the dvd to come out. And YAY!! Thank you!

That's one of my favorite moments too!! I really wish people made more art like your's which had all of their friendships. I'd love to see some narration for that. Like something most people don't focus on, like the Frank and Leo friendship. I feel like behind their "hating on" each other they could have a good friendship!!

I agree, but that's still in development. That could be interesting to write about, though! Their dynamic is certainly interesting; I have no idea where Riordan is going with the whole Hazel/Sammy/Leo/Frank thing.

I feel like Hazel will stay with Frank, like it'd just be too weird for both Hazel and Leo to know that Sammy is gone now and Leo isn't exactly him. That didn't make any sense ahaha sorry! But I wanted more bromance between Percy and Jason!! They had their brief bonding moment before the fall and I wanted more to their friendship!! Who do you think will narrate the next book?!

Nice ^^
I hated the SoM movie as well. I went to see it with my friends and I spent the whole journey back complaining and explaining what should of happened.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! And don't even get me started on the SoM movie. My friend and I were groaning in frustration and the only thing that got us through it was the horrible humor. It was so bad and awkward that it was hilarious and fun to mock, and it distracted me from the poorly developed characters and the way that they butchered the plot.

You're welcome. They killed the plot in so many ways, it was ridiculous. The only things they got right were Thalia's tree, the Princess Andromeda and Annabeth nearly dying. And I went with a friend who had seen the first one and never read the books and a friend who had never heard of Percy Jackson before. Even my friend who had seen the first movie thought it was crap. I understand that they had to make it so that everyone would enjoy it, but most people would of enjoyed it if it had stuck to the plot of the book.
