It sucks that this spinoff series has been in limbo ever since Free Riders ruined it with janky motion controls, so fan rosters like this are all we got for now. I know SEGA has never gone "extra" when putting together rosters for the Sonic Riders games, so I'd never get my hopes up for a roster this huge if they did revive the series, but I can dream.

I know Big is usually part of Team Rose, but he's best as a running gag; the less you see and hear of him, the better. Background cameos and optional fishing minigames are perfect for him. I'll admit the IDW trio is for sure a pipe dream, but you just know Ian Flynn would try to get them in if he was hired to write for a new Sonic Riders game. Super Monkey Ball and NiGHTS get two reps each because they're pretty much the silver and bronze medals when it comes to SEGA's most well-known series' and have had characters in pretty much every SEGA crossover game (in fact, I think NiGHTS might have perfect attendance).

And Miku Hatsune is definitely a joke character, but I needed to fill one more slot and I was all out of obscure classic SEGA characters, and I knew that SEGA developed the Project DIVA games, so I figured 'What the hey?' and just threw in Miku as an outside the box choice for the lols.

The renders for Tangle, Whisper, and Jewel were made by Nibroc, who does indeed Rock.
