We may love the Joker for what he is, a crazed villainous bastard, but I agree that Harley should get over him. I actually believed that if Harley and Ivy got together in a serious relationship, they'd stop being villains and regular civilians. Granted, they'd probably move and live somewhere other than Gotham, but that's probably be for the best too. Ivy could go back to being a botanist and Harley a psychologist helping people. They'd have happy productive lives together.
Sadly, that never happened. We need our heroes and our villains. Still, wish it did. Then Batman would have three less villains to deal with (Freeze moved to Antarctica to privately research a cure for his wife and peacefully lives there among the Eskimo people).
I blame Batman.
