COMPLICATED EMOTIONSWhy is it so hard to see right from wrong?
To know the difference from love and lust
Why must I live in a state of confusion?
Why must our lives be void of trust?
My heart says your love is true
My soul longs for your gentle caress
But deep inside I know it canβt be
You deserve more not less
All I have to give is a key to my heart
That opens a plethora of emotions
And with a few gentle words guide you
Through removing a few antiquated notions
And though you may be the heart of my heart
The tragedies of life will not let us be
and as time goes by the memories will remain
while each of us follow our destinies
so remember this my angel please never forget
that the paths we follow will make many turns
and no matter how much trouble we beget
it will always be for you that my heart yearns
