Hopelessly DevotedBy MARK ALAN BRICKEY
From out of the darkest skies
A light will shine
A star of hope glimmering in my heart
That your love will warm me
On the coldest night
No matter how far we are apart
Nothing else can compare
With the love that we have shared
We belong together like grapes and wine
In all my dreams
Of happiness it seems
I couldn't realize that one day you would be mine
I didn't think that in this life
I would ever find myself a wife
Even half as wonderful as you
But now that I have found
A heart where love abounds
No other woman will ever do
So I give my heart to you
But please be careful what you do
It can be broken like a fragile piece of glass
And the spirit that lies within
Can't stand to be crushed again
It will die thinking of the love
That slipped past
But I can see it in your eyes
A glow you can't deny
That ignites a love that will forever be true
And through the entirety of my life
I hope you know my future wife
That I will be hopelessly devoted to you

Beautiful, There is no more comforting thing in this world than somehow 'knowing' sweet assurance in love. It is precious, you have expressed it beautifully and as long as you feel the power of this emotion in your life, what you say and what you feel will last forever. It is a beautiful poem, that she will treasure from the moment.
