Motionless moments
Time standing still
While captured in restraints of the heart
Bonded by bliss
Touched by the kiss
Elevating love to a new form of art
Through time everlasting
Connecting body and soul
We join together in the passions of life
Though others restrain us
Nothing can forever detain us
Even now in our hearts we are husband and wife
Unto you I do give
All that I can ever be
The essence of me, my heart and soul
In hopes that you will honor me
And fulfill our loves true destiny
In this love that is beyond others control
Let me gently take your heart in my care
And show it compassion beyond compare
While we exist in this wonderful moment of love
I will be ever so tender
Until your body finally surrenders
To the passions that life is made of
Let me remove all your fears
And slowly kiss away those sad, sad tears
Bringing back the joy that you have lost
Know that as we go through life
I will always cherish you as my wife
My love will be yours no matter what it may cost

i kinda agree with imension. your work always is able to let us forget that we are reading poetry; rather, we are caught in a web of words that refuses to let us go, even once we've finished the poem. the rhyme doesn't seem to distort the words at all, and helps to create the illusion..
