Tears tracing glistening moments of sadness
Crossing cheeks so soft and sweet
Displaying her emotion for all to see
A battle rages and happiness cant compete
Despair has taken control of her heart
Sadness is in charge of her mind
How could this sweet angel have lost control?
How could love have made her so blind?
She had stayed on that lofty perch
With her virtue placed way up high
Protecting her innocence from loves deadly touch
Fearing it and yet not knowing why
Could it be the feelings of love out of control?
The pure lust that permeates her heart
The warmth that penetrates deep into her spirit
Or the passion that she felt right from the start
As he gazed longingly into her dark eyes
She knew that her heart was lost
That she would hold him all through the night
The price didn't matter she would pay what it cost
She would become a fallen angel
A soul lost in the grips of true love
Little did she know that this was not so
It was a gift from the heavens above
