I agree. The slant six was a great, dependable engine. Many are still out there in use even today.

Thanks... Yes, I quite agree, as do many experts...

Back in the'60s, Chrysler offered performance equipment upgrades for this engine (which I added to mine). I don't know if they still do...

I had a friend who had a Dodge Dart with the slant six and he put a split intake for two carbs on it. He also put a split exhaust manifold for dual exhaust and an MSD Blaster coil. It really ran much better.
